Chasing the Wind of Wise Words
(Ecclesiastes 7:1-29)

Wise words are good, but no amount of wisdom can overcome this warped world.

The way of wise words…

  1. …is upside down. (1-12)

  2. …has limitations. (13-18)

  3. …doesn't add up. (19-29)

  1. What "math equation" are you currently using to try and control your life, and what would it look like to trade that formula for the fear of God today?

  2. ​What is one "crooked" thing in your life right now that you have been trying to hammer straight on your own, and how can you begin to "consider it the work of God" instead?
