Chasing the Wind of Death & Life
(Ecclesiastes 9:1-10)

One tragic end chases us all, but hope in the One who overcomes delivers the full life (now and forever).

  1. Death is on its way for you (1–3)

  2. There is hope for the living (4–6)

  3. The Overcomer brings life forever (7–10)

Reflection Questions

  1. (The Chase) In what areas of your life are you currently trying to outrun or ignore the "one tragic end" through your own effort, health, or success?

  2. (The Approval) Do you live with the anxiety of someone trying to earn God’s favor, or with the joy of someone who is already "approved" because of the Empty Tomb?

  3. (The Feast) If the Overcomer has truly defeated the grave, how does that change the way you approach your “mundane” work and your daily meals this weak?
