Chasing the Wind of Fairness
(Ecclesiastes 8:14)

There is a vanity that takes place on earth, that there are righteous people to whom it happens according to the deeds of the wicked.

The vanity of fairness sounds like…

  1. “That’s not fair.”

  2. “Reality sets in.”

  3. "The great exchange of unfair hope.”

Reflection Questions

  1. In what areas of my life am I still wearing the "goggles" of my own goodness instead of seeing my need for Christ?

  2. In what areas of my life am I still wearing the "goggles" of my own goodness instead of seeing my need for Christ?

  3. How does the "unfairness" of the Cross provide you with a rest that your own hard work never could?
