Chasing the Wind of Pleasure
(Ecclesiastes 2:1-17)

The pursuit of human wisdom can discover what's wrong with the world, but has no power to make it right.

  1. The Pursuit: "You can have it all..." (1–10)

  2. The Problem: "...but it's just an empire of dirt." (11-17)

  3. The Promise: "Unless Christ is your All.” (16-18)

 
 

Reflection Questions

  1. What "Empire of Dirt" are you trying to build to satisfy your soul?

  2. If you knew your current work (all you put your hands to) was just a sandcastle, how would it change your anxiety and peace this week?
