While a hallmark of the Christian faith is that we’re saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, followers of Jesus are also known by their love and work that reflects the One they follow. In his letter to fellow believers, James—the brother of Jesus—writes passionately about the Christian life that flows from Christian belief.
Over 11 weeks, James will press us past mere intellectual assent. He will show us what it looks like when a heart truly captured by the gospel begins to beat in rhythm with the kingdom of God. True faith isn't just a collection of beliefs we hold; it is a living reality that works.

This is a series reflecting on a set of Sunday morning classes called "Evangelism: Sharing the Hope," in which we're unpacking the realities of giving our neighbors the good news about Jesus. This is a recap of our second and third sessions in which we asked the questions, “What is the content?” and, "How should we share it?"
With a desire to equip the saints for the work of ministry, The Village began hosting monthly Teaching Roundtables for anyone interested in growing as a hearer, teacher, and proclaimer of God’s Word. These gatherings create a regular space centered around a single topic related to preaching and teaching. Here, participants to get to interact with one another and other resources for the sake of both building up the church and being built up as the church.
