What would you write to a divided church? What would you say to the saints in a city primed to spread the gospel? Well, the Apostle Paul decided to pen a letter that dove deep into the history, theology, and outworkings of the gospel. In the most methodical treatment of God’s saving work through redemptive history, Paul’s letter to the Romans stands as a treasure trove of truth for the church today.
As we spend 2025 working verse by verse through Romans, we pray the Lord will help The Village more boldly believe - and boldly invite others into believing - God’s power to save anyone and everyone through the good news of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. Learn more in our Series Setup:
Church Center makes it easy to view previous livestreams and listen to Village Audio - in the app and on the web!
Every so often, a few of the pastors and other guests will gather around a table to talk about various topics. The Formed & Sent Podcast touches on anything from theology and culture to local issues and in-house happenings.
We’ll be migrating past series to Church Center throughout 2025. Thanks for your patience!

What if women and children need more from us than a two-sided argument? What if we refused to let the world draw our lines in the sand and instead let truth and grace define the way forward?
In a two-part conversation, Kelly, Matt, Michael, and Scott talk about abortion. Knowing there's always more to hear, more to consider, more to say, and more to do, this discussion is far from a final word. It's merely a first attempt to bring compassion, civility, and reason to an issue that's so much more than a topic to be debated or the two choices that have been set before us in American politics and culture.

If you’ve been reading ahead in the Gospel of John (or if you’ve read it before!), then you may have noticed something strange about John 7:53-8:11.
In many modern bibles, this section of Scripture is marked with an asterix, contained in brackets, curiously subtitled, and/or littered with footnotes. Why? In a nutshell, the oldest manuscripts of John’s gospel account simply don’t contain this passage, and the translators of our bibles want us to know it!
But what does it mean? Why should we care? And what does this say about the reliability of the Scriptures, what we know about Jesus, and how we should interact with this passage?
As The Village arrives at this passage in our sermon series through John, we wanted to share our approach to the passage and why we’re choosing to preach through it. This episode of the Formed & Sent Podcast is one way we’re inviting you to approach the bible with your eyes wide open - and to hopefully answer some questions before you have them on Sunday!
If this leaves you with more questions, however, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to hear what you’re wondering. Chances are, someone else has the same comment, question, or concern as you!
With a desire to equip the saints for the work of ministry, The Village began hosting monthly Teaching Roundtables for anyone interested in growing as a hearer, teacher, and proclaimer of God’s Word. These gatherings create a regular space centered around a single topic related to preaching and teaching. Here, participants to get to interact with one another and other resources for the sake of both building up the church and being built up as the church.
In these follow-up podcasts, a few folks from The Village will recap and reflect on our roundtable discussions. For those who were able to attend, we hope they serve as a helpful reminder. And for those who weren’t able to participate, we hope these episodes will let you learn and grow along with us!
