THEOLOGICAL TRIAGE
This should be familiar to you from earlier in the year, but if it’s not, please familiarize yourself with The Village’s Theological Triage document. Linked below is a PDF with all of our theological statements, one-pages, and distinctives to-date.
For the purpose of ministry alignment, we want all of our deacon-level leaders (that means you!) to be able to affirm everything that’s incorporated in Level 2: Distinctives. The Theological Triage document begins on page six, with our distinctives starting on page nine. If you have any questions or concerns, let us know!
RESOURCES
We’ve pulled together a lot of resources over the last year, but these four will be more available and visible at The 210 in the near future. We want you to be familiar with them, not just so that you can go through them with others, but so that you can help put them in other people’s hands.
GROWING THROUGH CHALLENGE
Growth requires challenge! I want to challenge you to challenge your groups in one, specific, tangible way in the September-November months. Think about your folks, pray for your people, cast a vision, and dare them to live into a deeper picture of a healthy, mature community of disciples.
If you weren’t able to make it to the huddle, I spend five minutes talking about the resources above and five minutes talking about growing through challenge in this short recap video. I dare you to watch it!
