Chasing the Wind of Labor's Reward
(Ecclesiastes 5:8-20)

Because God provides true delight, His people can resist the empty promises of money.

  1. The corruption we see. (8-9)

  2. The frustration we feel. (10-17)

  3. The gift we receive–true delight. (18-20)

Reflection Questions

  1. What earthly treasure (money, greater job, stocks, 401K, bank statements, etc.) gets the eyes of my heart more than Christ?

  2. What areas of life am I finding it difficult to enjoy the fruits of my labor? How can resting in the security of Christ infuse delight there?

  3. How do the promises of Christ guard you from chasing the wind and empower you to use money for God’s glory?
