Chasing the Wind of Time
(Ecclesiastes 3:1-15)

Because God controls the times, our role is to respond today with eternity in mind.

  1. Yield to the appointed seasons. (1-8)

  2. Trust the eternal perspective. (9-11)

  3. Receive the daily gifts. (12-15)

 
 

Reflection Questions

  1. What appointed season are you trying to fight or fast-fwd, and what would it look like to yield to God’s timing?

  2. Where have you been trying to find "eternal weight" in things that are merely "mist," and how is that misplaced expectation stealing your peace?

  3. In the midst of the mysteries you cannot comprehend, what "simple gift" from God’s hand can you receive with gratitude and awe this week?
