Laying Down Liberties
(Romans 14:13-23)

Christians have a responsibility to lay down liberties for the good of their neighbor and the mission of God.

  1. A Call to Sacrifice: Love Over Judgment. (13-16)

  2. A Call to Unity: Kingdom Over Comfort. (17-23)

Reflection Questions

  1. Where in are you tempted to choose your personal liberty over the spiritual welfare of your bro/sis?

  2. How does Christ’s ultimate sacrifice for the weak lead you to accept the cost of laying down your own freedoms?

  3. What is one concrete action you can take to move from judging a bro/sis to actively building them up in love?
