Fighting for unity in Christ within a politically diverse local church.

Sundays
9:00-10:00 am
October 4th - November 1st

In an incredibly polarizing political climate, the church ought to be a breath of fresh air to those who enter it. In Ephesians 3, Paul says that God gave us the gospel so that his multi-faceted wisdom might be made known to the spiritual rulers and authorities of our day. How? By displaying the indivisible unity of his church in Christ, despite individual differences. Where Jesus is King, God’s wisdom should be seen.

But the church doesn’t become wise by accident. In fact, without purposefully letting the Lord disciple us in the way we think about the earthly rulers and authorities of our day, we’re bound to look like fools in front of the spiritual ones. The best way to preserve the unity of the church in an election year isn’t to avoid discussing politics with the church, but to explicitly let the Lord disciple us in our politics together.

That’s where this class, Indivisible, comes in. Over the course of five weeks, we’re inviting the church to spend time praying, discussing, and learning together how we get to approach earthly politics uniquely as a people who already have a King.
