Colossians: Above All

What would you tell a young, healthy church planted in between the pressures of old religion and new spirituality? This was Paul’s question when he wrote a letter to the Christians in Colossae. Jewish Law and pagan rituals combined and clashed around the Colossian church, both promising to bring people closer to the divine.

Paul’s answer? Jesus has been, is now, and always will be more than enough for His people. He alone is above all. And He alone lets us put on and pursue above all the love that binds Him and His church together in all things.
