Save the Date! Annual Summer Picnic is on July 20th!

Instead of our normal Sunday gathering, we will gather outside (a few blocks away) at Symmes Park! There’s a playground, a basketball court and plenty of shade for a Village Picnic. Food will be provided by two trucks, providing a variety of chicken meals and personal pizzas (menus below).

WHEN: Sunday, July 20th at 10:30am-1pm. Lunch will be available after 11am! (menus below)

WHERE: Symmes Park - 401 South Third Street in downtown Hamilton. If you’re able bodied, please park where we normally park for a Sunday gathering and walk over to the park! It’s a quick 5 minute walk. However, there are some parking spots available on Third Street.

WHAT to bring: a blanket, chairs, extra (or different) food if you have any specific dietary restrictions. Any type of outdoor game you’d like to play - there’s a basketball court!

When you arrive at the park, stop by the connect table first! We'll give you one meal ticket per person that you'll use at the food trucks when you order. This will let the trucks know that your main dish and/or kids' meal is being covered by The Village. We'll let everyone settle in starting at 10:30am, and by around 11:00am, we'll welcome folks, pray, and eat!

1st truck menu:
-Chicken tenders
-Corn dogs
-Chicken & waffles
-These meals come with fries!

2nd truck menu:
-Build your own personal pizza
-They will have a GF crust option!

We will also provide water and a dessert found at the connect table!

The local go team has invited anyone to help clean up Symmes Park on Saturday, July 19th at 4pm. It’s a great time to get to know people in the neighborhood while getting the space clean for our families to gather. Please let Kieh Kirby (513) 255-1014 know if you can help out!

In the event it happens to rain that day, we'll move our festivities indoors and the food trucks will park outside The 210.
