Arriving at the Beginning
(Ruth 1:1-22)

Loss will cross our path today, but Christ is our companion forever.

With Christ as our companion…

  1. …loss will still cross our path.

  2. …loss doesn’t loosen God’s grip.

  3. …loss isn’t the end.

Reflection Questions

  1. SELF: What loss do you need to reckon with?

→ How does it mark your life? (choices, people, faith)

  2. GOD: Where are you resisting God’s grace?

→ What would happen if you stopped fighting it?

→ Take that next step with Jesus and the church!

  3. OTHERS: Who in your life is feeling loss?

→ How can you be a Ruth-like friend?
