The Spirit's Work
(Romans 8:1-17)

In Christ, thru the Spirit, you’re no longer bound, but empowered to live righteously as God's child.

By the Spirit, we have…

  1. …been set free. (1-4)

  2. …victory over the flesh. (5-11)

  3. …Been adopted into the family of God. (12-17)

Reflection Questions

  • Where is the word and Spirit pressing you to believe that you're no longer condemned if you’re in Christ?

  • If Jesus was condemned so you could be freed, what difference does it make in the battle of your mind?

  • If you already know the outcome of the battle, how does it free and empower you to delight in God’s grace & mercy, and to follow him faithfully today and forever?
