Redeeming Youth

Main Idea:
The gospel’s guarded best when it’s entrusted to the next.

A church that lasts forever…

  1. …will love to pass the torch. (Ezra 3:10-13)

  2. …will never leave its roots. (2 Tim. 2:3-14)

  3. …will always be growing up. (1 Tim. 4:12-5:2)

  1. How does the call to honor your fellow saints as spiritual family members change your relationships?

  2. Older saints, how are you passing the torch today?

    > Do you love that reality, or do you hate it?

    > How are trusting the Lord and the young related?

    > Do your perceptions of youth need to change?

  3. Younger saints, are you preparing to get the torch?

    > How are you letting age be an excuse for immaturity?

    > How can you better guard the deposit in you?

    > How can you see and treat older saints differently?
